Church! Pastor talks of pagans, atheists, agnostics, demons. He talks about spiritual warfare.

Pastor also introduces Arlene and Sam. He welcomes them to the church.

Arlene looks bothered, joins in the praising of Jesus, but kinda half-hearted.

Pastor speaks with Sam. Asks him if he's going to stay and where he's from. Asks him which church he's from. Sam and the pastor talks amicable about this and that.

Pastor speaks with Arlene. Arlene apologizes for coming to a black church, but the pastor is cool with it. Arlene asks about the pagans etc. The pastor warns against speaking with pagans and other spiritually bad people. They are everywhere.


Buck's House! Buck wakes up and eats stuff out of the fridge like an animal. He eats it all. He heads out on hunt for more food.


The Diner! Billy speaks with Arlene about the night ebfore. Makes it clear that Arlene had no dream, it was real. But, she knew nothing more. They both admitted that it didn't feel bad.

Buck comes and sits down. So does Jonas. They are surprised that Billy doesn't know anything about what is going on, but promises to take him out partying.


Outside Diner! Chuck asks Billy to come for lunch. Asks how the club is doing and puts Billy in contact with some repairmen in Alexandria.


Sam's Flat! Sam is moving in. Mary Ellen comes along and checks up on him. Brings him a blueberry pie. Mentions the 7 am start.

They talk about church and how the pastor can be a bit fire and brimstone. Still, Sam doesn't want to give up on them. And if he doesn't keep an eye on them, then who would.


Chuck's Home! Billy asks Chuck for help with the finances of the club until the insurance comes through. Chuck is fine with that and will come over tomorrow.

Billy plays with Chuck's kid. The kid wonders if Billy hit his head cause he has bumps on his head. Billy gets frazzled and leaves, checking his forehead in the mirror on the way out.


Post Office! Buck goes to the post office and demands the name and address of everyone in Little Haven.


The Arcadian! The accountant meets with Billy on Monday morning. He is shocked about the damage to the club. Says that he isn't sure the insurance is gonna cover it. He is very annoyed that Billy hasn't done his taxes, but understands considering the damage. Says he has got to do it by Friday.

Billy goes upstairs and has got two messages: one from Arlene and one from Ramona. They both want to meet him.


The Diner! Sam comes with pies to the diner and bumps into Arlene. Arlene denies having met Sam outside of the church. Sam tries to get her to acknowledge the forest without explicitly stating it.

They are interrupted by a phone call from Arlene's school. Tommy is missing. Sam drives Arlene to school. Sam suggests the wood, and Arlene has to accept that it may not have been a dream to find Tommy.


Forest! Buck hears someone following him. The forest woman wrestle him to the ground. (Impressive) She wants his help. Buck grudgingly agrees to follow her.


The Arcadian! Billy tries to get through the voice menu system of the insurance company, but gives up. Chuck arrives and estimate the damage to 20-30 thousand dollars. Billy asks for help with getting the insurance stuff worked out.

Billy says he's going to meet Ramona at in Little Haven.


The Clearing! Sam and Arlene are at the clearing. Arlene is slowly accepting the truth when Sam turns on the fairy charm. She snaps out of it and resumes the look for Tommy.


Forest! Eloise needs help from Buck to track down and deal with a shadow imp. It escaped from the dreaming during the full moon. She thinks it may be heading toward town.


The Clearing! Eloise and Buck arrive at the clearing where Sam and Arlene are. Arlene asks about Tommy, and Eloise says that it is not safe with the shadow imp loose because 'it eats children'. Arlene freaks out.


The Fountain! Billy meets with Ramona and says that he has decided that if he is going crazy, then he may as well enjoy it. Ramona is very happy to hear it. Billy says that he doesn't understand any that is going on, but all he knows is that he has never felt so free and happy than when he ran through the forest. Ramona suggests that they do it again. At that point Buck, Arlene, Eloise and Sam come running through the forest.

Billy and Eloise ask each other who they are. Then Eloise ask again about the shadow imp, but Billy doesn't know what it is. Arlene shows a picture of it drawn by Tommy and says that Tommy said that it lives under the stairs. They decide to go and check it out.


Arlene's House! Arlene's daughter gets of the school bus and opens the front door, calling out for mummy.
