Pastor also introduces Arlene and Sam. He welcomes them to the church.
Arlene looks bothered, joins in the praising of Jesus, but kinda half-hearted.
Pastor speaks with Sam. Asks him if he's going to stay and where he's from. Asks him which church he's from. Sam and the pastor talks amicable about this and that.
Pastor speaks with Arlene. Arlene apologizes for coming to a black church, but the pastor is cool with it. Arlene asks about the pagans etc. The pastor warns against speaking with pagans and other spiritually bad people. They are everywhere.
Buck comes and sits down. So does Jonas. They are surprised that Billy doesn't know anything about what is going on, but promises to take him out partying.
They talk about church and how the pastor can be a bit fire and brimstone. Still, Sam doesn't want to give up on them. And if he doesn't keep an eye on them, then who would.
Billy plays with Chuck's kid. The kid wonders if Billy hit his head cause he has bumps on his head. Billy gets frazzled and leaves, checking his forehead in the mirror on the way out.
Billy goes upstairs and has got two messages: one from Arlene and one from Ramona. They both want to meet him.
They are interrupted by a phone call from Arlene's school. Tommy is missing. Sam drives Arlene to school. Sam suggests the wood, and Arlene has to accept that it may not have been a dream to find Tommy.
Billy says he's going to meet Ramona at in Little Haven.
Billy and Eloise ask each other who they are. Then Eloise ask again about the shadow imp, but Billy doesn't know what it is. Arlene shows a picture of it drawn by Tommy and says that Tommy said that it lives under the stairs. They decide to go and check it out.
