The School! Principal Monroe tells Arlene that Tommy has had problems fitting in at school and is getting into fights. He has imaginary friends and worst of all, he has started to draw pictures where a strange dark monster always features. Arlene takes offence but says that she will talk with Tommy.

In the car back, Arlene asks Tommy about how he is doing. He says that the other kids are picking on him. Tommy says that Mr Jippo means they do so because the kids are jealous. Mr Jippo is his friend who only come around when he is alone. Arlene asks if he is the monster in the pictures, but Tommy says that that is the monster under the stairs.

The Arcadian! Billy returns to the club. Ricky and Daphne has done a good job of cleaning up, but it still looks terrible. None of them can really remember how it all got so trashed. They do remember having had a very good time though.

Etta greets Buck. Buck offers beer and Etta says yes.

The Fountain & The Clearing! Billy meets Ramona. It is clear that Billy is infatuated with Ramona. They talk a bit about what Billy does for a living and why he opened a club. There is a bitterness to Billy's answers, but he is predominantly happy to be out on an adventure. The two walk through the forest reach the forest clearing.

Billy is surprised to find Mary Ellen, Buck and Etta Mae there. Billy speaks with them all. When he speaks with Mary Ellen she says that she is glad that he is 'one of them'. Billy doesn't know what she means by that, and Mary Ellen looks at him in surprise and suspicion.

Forest! Billy Lee stops. He must have gotten lost in the dark wood. Somewhere along the way, he has lost his shirt. His chest is heaving. He sits down on a rock to rest, and then sees that he is naked and that his legs are double-jointed and covered in fur and his feet are hooves.

Forest! Buck abandoned his race when he saw a deer. He follows it and gets trapped in a net. The deer is gone, but a woman comes to speak with him. She says that it will be a lesson for him to be left there for the night, a punishment for hunting deer in her forest.

Forest! Arlene meets Sam who says all is OK. Arlene is terrified. Sam says she could have a great night and that she should ask Tommy if he wants to go. Tommy doesn't. He also points at his mother and says that she looks like a princess. Arlene notices that her skin is glowing faintly. She finds a pond and looks at her reflection. She says that she now understand that this is all a dream. This calms her down and she agrees to come back to the clearing with Sam.

Billy has been watching them, hiding behind a tree. He walks up to the pond when they have left and looks at this reflection. His face is normal, except for two large horns in his forehead. Ramona enters the frame and says that he knew that Billy was one of them.

The two talk. Ramona tries to calm down Billy, but he is freaked out. After a while she gives up and leaves.
