Nationality: Scottish - Born in Orkney.
Occupation: Struggling Actress/Poet and Waitress.=} M;aggy; moved to Edinburgh several years ago to study performing arts at the university. She dreams of making it big - not TV or film but in theatre. She has been involved in some initially minor but good performances in and around Edinburgh the most notable of which were open air performances at the castle over the last three summers. The first was "Arthur" a fairly low budget production based on the Celtic histories of Arthur, Maggy played Nimue - the lady/spirit of the lake.

After her performance she was invited to join a more high profile theatre group (one she actually made some money from) and the following summer played Ophelia in the group's production of Hamlet, which was very well received. Shortly after this she became involved with Rhys Morgan, some 15 years her senior and the groups Co-founder/director. The relationship bloomed and the next summer she was cast as Lady Macbeth for the group's open-air performance. This caused something of a rift with some of the more longstanding members of the group because of her relationship with Rhys. Bickering amongst the troupe may have been sited as the reason for its poor show but more likely the flawed direction and some stilted performances (according to the critics) was the cause. In fact the best thing in the performance (again according to the critics) was maggy's performance. Not to be out done and for "the Good of the group" Rhys ended the relationship and told Maggy it would be better if she left the group.

She now works as a waitress in the Willow Tree - a small cafe/bar in the old town during the day but fills with arty types during the evenings where there are a variety of poetry readings and live (mainly folk) musicians. Maggy has on several occasions been one of the performers either singing or reading compositions of her own.
