J;emma; "Cookie" Cookson is somewhat of a jack-of-all-trades on board ship. She is clearly a skilled medic when she is not baking cakes or overseeing the day to day running of the ship. She is mid-twenties, attractive, but more in that "girl-next-door" way.

Jemma is relatively business-like but is known to show emotion every once in a while. She has no major hang-ups or skeletons in her closet that we know of.

The relationship between her and the Captain is not clear. They appear to be close in a father/daughter sense. She has been part of the small LOST crew for at least two years, much longer than the next crew member, Jay.
