Mike and Bex - at De Hoge Veluwe (Amsterdam)

I; ;am the second Kiwi in the LoST group, the first being Jon, and have been in the UK for more than 4 years now. My wife Rebecca and I came across to travel and like many antipodeans have never got around to leaving.

To set the scene or just encase your not too familiar with your typical New Zealander, the top three things you should know about Kiwi's are;

I will spare you all the lengthy details but have been role playing for 2 decades now, here in the UK and back in NZ. Prior to LoST I have been a part of two fantastic groups in the North East of England, and most notably in Auckland with the now defunct Tentacles and Underpants group.

I am both a GM and Player, and enjoying writing scenarios as much as playing - you can check out one of them in the Cthulhu fanzine Unboundbook. Although I have sampled a wide range of games over the years I continue to come back to Call of Cthulhu. It just seems to have the right balance of story telling, straight forward rules, a huge range of supporting material and the most unique & interesting Mythos.

LoST have now been through two of my original 1920's Cthulhu scenario's set in New York - the first is The Pennywell Hangmen - keep your eye open for the addition of City of Sin, the second scenario will be up on the site at some stage soon.

Benjamin - born 5th October 2007

And of course my synopsis wont be complete without me doing the proud dad thing and spouting about the recent arrival of my beautiful son, Benjamin.

Like any 21st century father I have a pile of photos of the little guy, which are up on Ben's own very first website, yes sad I know.

Now Bex has yet to let Benjamin be indoctrinated into the lifestyle / philosophy / religion / substitute girlfriend, that role-playing represents ... however its just a matter of time. I'm not entirely sure what she's so worried about - but then again Cthulhu can corrupt even the most innocent

:)
